Bus Travel

Windsor Gate is near to bus stops on Ruddlesway, 55m to the south of the A308, as well as on Dedworth Road.

At the time of writing, the following services are provided at these stops:

Dedworth Road

  • 16A – St Marks Hospital to Windsor via Maidenhead, Bray, Holyport (Monday – Saturday)

Ruddlesway (South of Roundabout)

  • 16 – St Marks Hospital to Windsor via Maidenhead, Bray, Holyport and Dedworth (Monday – Sunday)
  • W1 – Windsor via Clewer & Dedworth (Monday – Friday)
  • 16A – Windsor via Clewer & Dedworth (Monday – Saturday)

Ruddlesway (opposite Martins Close)

  • 2 – Slough to Dedworth via Windsor (Monday – Saturday)

Thames Valley Bus Passes and Tickets

There are a variety of bus passes available from Thames Valley Buses which provide access to their services within Windsor and beyond. With access to different areas including Slough, Wokingham, Reading, Bracknell and other Thames Valley locations, you have the opportunity to purchase daily, weekly and monthly tickets! Concessionary Fares

For those that are of a State Pension age you are entitled to a free bus pass. This bus pass entitles you to free travel on bus services throughout England from 09:30am to 11:00pm Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays. Other services can also be accessed in the Thames Valley area using this bus service. Information on these services can be found here.

Rail Travel

The nearest railway station is Windsor and Eton Railway Station and is located approximately 3.3km to the east of the site. Windsor is the terminus of a branch line from Slough, and trips to central London can be made in less than an hour via the Elizabeth Line.
